Sorghum

Sudan cultivates approximately 24% of the total area of sorghum grown in Africa and produces nearly one fifth of the continents crop. We source our non-GMO sorghum from top suppliers, mainly in eastern Sudan, who grow several varieties, including Tetron, Feterita, Dabar, Tabat, Mugud, Wad Akar, and Wad Bako.

Sorghum

Primarily grown in rain-fed conditions, sorghum is used principally as food, feed, and in the manufacturing of ethanol. Given its importance as a crop it is also a key contributor to the economic sustainability of smallholder farmers and SMEs in the region.
