Possessing three decades of managerial and directorial experience in diverse industrial sectors – spanning automobile, heavy machinery, and food, Amir is the visionary behind growing Invictus into key commodity player.
Amir launched his career as the Managing Director of DAL Group in London. He has also acted in a directorial capacity at DAL Motors Company, the Sudanese Tractor Company and DAL Food Industries.
With over 12 years of managerial experience in the corporate world, Mahmoud oversees the end to end trading of commodities, from origination to end customer.
Prior to joining Invictus, he held several positions in strategy and business development at Kenana Sugar Company and DAL Group.
Osama leads and oversees the entire export operation, ensuring the business processes, operational setup, and planning are executed efficiently.
His engineering background coupled with 30 years of experience has allowed him to deliver multiple strategic initiatives as well as improve business controls and establish key business performance measures.
Robert brings nearly a decade of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and internal controls to Invictus.
He began his career with Unilever Kenya then served in a leadership role in BAIN Netherlands, having been the Vice President of Finance and Network Controller before joining Invictus.

Johannes Jansen
A 30-year veteran of the food industry in developed and emerging markets across Africa and the Middle East, specializing in business development, marketing, sales, distribution and logistics.
Johannes worked at numerous Coca-Cola bottling operations in Sudan, Yemen, Egypt, Libya, Tanzania, and South Africa. He also has experience in the UAE and Oman with DAL Group and Masafi Bottled Water Company distributing Water, Juices, and Personal Care products.
A highly seasoned Audit and Compliance Professional, Mr. Hazem joined Invictus us from Investment Management Company where he was employed as the Finance and Accounts Manager reporting to the CEO. Prior to this he was engaged for over 10 years with the Financial Audit Authority – Government of Dubai – His Highness Ruler’s Court. He has also had early career stints with Multinational Big 4 Audit firms.
Mr. Hazem holds many professional qualifications under his belt, namely, Chartered Certified Financial Consultant, Certified Internal Control Auditor, International Arbitration Advisor, Counselor in the International Court for Dispute Resolutions and Anti-Money Laundering & Anti-Terrorist Financing Consultant.
In his current capacity Mr. Hazem is heading the compliance and Internal Audit function for the group in UAE, responsible for designing and overseeing control systems that aim to reduce organizational risk, Identify competitive advantages and Foster better public relations.

Amir Osama Daoud Abdellatif
Having over 10 years’ experience in commodity trading and shipping, Amir has a strong commodity background, most notably in sugar. Today, he uses his considerable expertise to lead Invictus’ sugar trading business.
Leveraging his background in economics, Amir landed his first job as a sugar trader at Czarnikow in London. During his tenure, he was primarily responsible for white sugar flows into Sub-Saharan Africa, before going on to establish Czarnikow Ingredients. He also worked in dry bulk shipping at Clarksons in New York.
Over a 30-year period, Michel has worked in multiple locations across the globe in international commodity trading, bringing extensive exposure and a plethora of experience to the team.
Prior to joining Invictus in 2020 as an Advisor, Michel worked for Cargill for nearly 3 decades where he occupied various roles such as Chairman of the Board of Australian Wheat (AWB), where he oversaw the integration of Cargill’s existing businesses.
